At AGN Academy, we welcome registered healthcare professionals who want to expand their clinical skills into aesthetic medicine. Our courses are designed to meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of each profession.
Led by Dr Nikita Nirwan, a King's College London graduate with over 10 years of clinical experience, our training combines rigorous medical education with practical, hands-on experience.

GPhCGPhC-registered pharmacists bring valuable medication knowledge to aesthetics. An excellent opportunity to expand beyond dispensary practice.
Dental Therapists & Hygienists
GDCDental therapists and hygienists can add aesthetic services to their offering. Work alongside dentists or in multi-disciplinary clinics.
Paramedics
HCPCHCPC-registered paramedics have strong clinical skills and emergency training — invaluable for aesthetic practice and complication management.
Physiotherapists
HCPCHCPC-registered physiotherapists understand musculoskeletal anatomy deeply. Botox for muscle-related conditions is a natural fit.
Physician Associates
GMCPhysician associates bring broad medical knowledge and patient assessment skills to aesthetic practice. Work alongside prescribing colleagues.
Operating Department Practitioners
HCPCODPs have excellent understanding of pharmacology and patient care. Transfer your theatre skills to the aesthetic treatment room.
Who Can Train in Aesthetics?
To train with AGN Academy, you must be a registered healthcare professional with one of the following regulatory bodies:
- GMC — General Medical Council (Doctors, Physician Associates)
- GDC — General Dental Council (Dentists, Dental Therapists, Hygienists)
- NMC — Nursing and Midwifery Council (Nurses, Midwives)
- GPhC — General Pharmaceutical Council (Pharmacists)
- HCPC — Health and Care Professions Council (Paramedics, Physiotherapists, ODPs)
Note on Prescribing: Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine (POM). Non-prescribers will need to work with a prescriber or obtain an independent prescribing qualification to administer these treatments.
